This blog publishes student-authored posts on claims that impact child development. Claims may be related to medical, physical, psychological, emotional, or social issues that affect children. Each post is by a different student writer and focuses on a different claim related to child development.
Students in PSYC 3310 are invited to write a post on a claim they are interested in learning more about.
Topics: Posts on specific claims related to child development are welcome.
Audience: This blog is written for parents and other adults who care for children, such as grandparents, foster parents, childcare workers, and healthcare workers who are seeking accurate, credible, and reliable information about issues that impact the children in their care.
Length: Each post should be approximately 1000-1600 words.
Research: A minimum of 5 current (published within the last 10 years) research articles from peer-reviewed, academic journals are required for each post.
Documentation: Document all sources using in-text citations and with a reference list in APA format.
Author Biography: Student bloggers submit a short author biography of approximately 2-3 sentences so that readers will know more about you as a writer.
